Hand-built textured stoneware decorated with oxides and layered porcelain slips. This layering process together with textural mark-making may be repeated a number of times with up to 3 separate firings to build up a richly textured weathered stone-like surface. Internally glazed to enable the vessel to hold liquid. Final firing to 1260 degrees C.
