Hand built and heavily textured black stoneware bottle with a heavily textured surface and a matt white glaze applied in variable thickness to reveal the rich texture and variation of the surface markings. The iron oxide in the clay reacts with the white glaze producing a beautifully textural pitted surface. The bottle has been glazed inside to hold water.
